AboutMe

Before becoming a cartoonist, I earned a B.S. and an M.S. in Entomology, then studied yellow-fever mosquitoes, photosynthesis, lung surfactant, autism and purine metabolism. I also assisted my husband in ecological field research.

Currently I publish cartoons in hundreds of magazines, books, websites, newspapers, calendars and greeting cards.

My specialties are cartoons on medicine and science for the professional, travel industry cartoons, current events cartoons, education cartoons for teachers and professors, Jewish lifestyle and holiday cartoons, business cartoons, lifestyle cartoons, women's cartoons and greeting cards.

“Drawing a Crowd” was my syndicated single-panel distributed by Creators Syndicate.

The National Cartoonist Society nominated me for Best Magazine Gag Cartoonist (1999, 2000, 2001 and 2007) and Best Greeting Card Cartoonist (2000 and 2004).
